Brio: A Value-Added Benefit for Your Employees

Contact an advisor
What is Brio?

Brio is a voluntary program that brings together employees of Lussier client companies. It allows these organizations to enhance their employee benefits with free value-added perks (see What are the benefits of joining?).

The concept is similar to group insurance plans offered to members of professional associations, where large volume enables members to access additional benefits.

However, in this case, there is no minimum number of employees required from the same organization. Even very small businesses can offer this benefit to their staff, as long as they are Lussier clients.

Brio is a family-friendly program, as it is available to the employee, their spouse, and their children. It is also universal, as any permanent employee can join from day one of their employment.

What are the benefits of joining?

Participating companies provide their employees with a host of perks included in the Brio insurance program:

  • A discount of up to 15% on policies for auto, home, and recreational vehicle insurance;
  • Free additional protections, such as in-home assistance (housekeeping, nursing care, etc.) during recovery following a hospital stay of at least five full days;
  • Access to a pet insurance package called Petline.
Does the employer need to provide a list of employees?

To comply with the Quebec Privacy Act (also known as Law 25), no employee information needs to be shared. Employees must take the initiative to join the group insurance program. They simply need to contact us to make Brio their personal insurance program (see How can a Lussier client company express interest?).

What is required from the employer?

The employer is simply asked to promote Brio, explain its nature to their employees, and integrate it as part of their overall compensation package.

How does the employer promote the program?

Lussier provides a customized, turnkey communication kit that includes various materials: posters, inserts, digital formats, and more. Additionally, upon request, Lussier can tailor its approach to the employer’s needs and even visit their offices to explain the program to employees, highlighting the significant insurance discounts available.

What does the employer gain by promoting Brio to their staff?

Your employees are the most valuable asset of your organization. As such, an initiative like Brio serves as a powerful engagement tool that significantly enhances your employee benefits offering. Specifically, it allows you to:

  • Stand out as an employer of choice;
  • Attract, motivate, and retain talent in a competitive job market;
  • Improve overall compensation with a program equivalent to a group insurance plan focused on employee well-being.
